Actress Vanessa Hudgens Works Out In Style with New Footwear for Feet

Actress Vanessa Hudgens displayed a new style recently at a pilates class in Los Angeles by wearing a different types of footwear that encouragesproper foot care during one’s workout routine.

The strangely designed no toe socks originating from the UK create more comfort and efficiency for your feet while performing such exercises as pilates and yoga. “Separating the toes 'is the best thing you can do for your feet because it will encourage you to spread your toes which helps strengthen foot muscles and increase blood circulation” said manufacturers of the product. The newly designed socks also claim to be sanitary and hygienic and better than working out in bare feet. Additionally the non-slip sole that the sock features decreases the risk of slipping on a floor or mat during an exercise.

It is important that the proper care is being provided to your feet during exercise and other activities.  A podiatrist like Dr. Andrew H. Cohen of Mid-Michigan Foot and Ankle Center can make recommendations and help you with any foot pain you might have experienced from wearing ill-fitting footwear.

The Importance of Proper Foot Support

Walking is an everyday function for both men and women, and in order to keep your body’s balance in order, you are going to need shoes that provide the proper kinds of support.

Poor foot support can cause pain and discomfort in the lower back, hips, knees, neck and shoulder. It also can lead to emotional stress, and physiological changes in the body. In order to avoid these problems, you must have proper foot support.

The arch is the most important part of the foot, which is where most of the support and balance of your feet lies. The arch of your foot varies in height, and as you age, this height can change. Proper foot support will help musculoskeletal issues, which causes inactivity or disability.

When looking for shoes that give proper support to your feet, you should refrain from wearing ill-fitting shoes.  If footwear is too tight, this can affect the body’s posture, stress, bone deformities, and other foot and back pain. Therefore, it is important that shoes fit well in order to avoid these complications.

Shoes to Consider:

-  Good heel and arch support
-  Have proper length and width for your feet
-  Avoid tight/cramped shoes.
