Albert Pujols to Consider Foot Surgery to Treat Painful Plantar Fasciitis

Albert PujolsFirst baseman Albert Pujols has been going through stubborn distress, due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot. The topic that brings up the most discussions regarding the Los Angeles Angels athlete is if the first baseman will consider doing offseason surgery.

“When we get to that point, we’ll talk about it. I’m definitely going to try to do something after the season to help me out and not play in that pain I’ve been playing in. There’s no doubt that I’ll be a full-time first baseman next year,” said Pujols in a recent statement to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times. In the meantime, Pujols has been seen as a designated hitter due to his bothersome foot.
